Our History
I should have realized when I was younger that I’d end up working outdoors someday. Since childhood, I’ve always enjoyed the outdoors. By the time I was a teenager, I was maintaining our neighborhood’s front entranceway as well as my family’s multi-acre yard. After graduating college, I worked for a national news company for more than a decade, covering some of the biggest news events of the day. Like many people, I decided it was time for a career change. I then worked for a large landscaping company before launching Brokaw Lawn in 2016. I now get to tell people my office is the outdoors.
Since then, Brokaw Lawn has grown to service clients in five counties in the greater Charlotte area. Our experienced staff brings decades of experience in the lawn and landscaping industry. We have been awarded as top companies by Thumbtack and Nextdoor. We also volunteer with Project Evergreen’s GreenCare for Troops program, which provides free landscaping services for families of active military members. Additionally, we are members of the Carolina Green Industry Network and Turfgrass Council of North Carolina. We work with a wide range of vendors to be able to provide our customers with the highest quality services to make their goals and dreams realities.
