Sod Installation
From repairing a small area of damaged grass to starting from scratch to providing instant curb appeal, installing sod is the fastest way to establish a new lawn. Unlike seeding, which is a slower process and is dependent on the time of year, sodding can be done nearly year-round. With our experienced team, Brokaw Lawn can help through the entire restoration process. And once your new lawn is established, don’t forget about our Turf Care Program to help your lawn’s long-term health.
Landscape Planting
We work with customers to create outdoor natural spaces that are right for you. With sun, water, and soil conditions, let Brokaw Lawn advise you on the best planting strategies, ensuring your landscape thrives.
Our material is sourced from the region’s top nurseries to provide customers with the highest quality plants, flowers, and trees.
Mulch, Pine Needle, and Stone Installation
Mulch your beds not only improves the looks of your natural areas, it also improves the overall quality. Natural materials such as mulch, and pine needles help provide water retention, weed prevention, and soil improvement. If you need help with erosion control, or drainage improvement, or have areas you don’t want growth, look at decorative stones and gravel for these areas. From five bags to 500 yards of mulch, from 10 bales of pines to 1,000, no job is too big or too small for residential or commercial properties.
Aeration and Seeding
Core aeration is vital for a lawn’s overall health and growth. The best time to aerate a lawn is during its periods of active growth. For fescue lawns, this is usually in the Fall, but can also be done in Spring. For warm weather grass, that’s in Spring or early Summer. Among its benefits, aeration reduces compaction, reduces thatch, and increases oxygen movement to the roots. Also in the Fall, it is the right time to seed your fescue lawns. Brokaw Lawn will only use premium tall fescue seed. Choose Brokaw Lawn’s Turf Care Program for ongoing treatments and fertilizations to continue the lawn’s long-lasting health.
